How this site was built
Anthem built this website in-house. Here is what it's made of and how we check it.
Built in-house
Anthem designed and built this website itself, with Next.js and React.
The machine in the story is a 3D scene made for this site. The still images on the pages are frames captured from it.
Type
Two typefaces, both under the SIL Open Font License and served from this site: Cormorant Garamond for headings and Instrument Sans for everything else.
Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page is checked with automated accessibility tests at desktop and phone sizes, and the interactive parts are checked with a keyboard.
Pages work without JavaScript. If your device asks for reduced motion, every animation is off and you see the finished state.
Performance
The story film loads only when you press play. There are no tracking or advertising scripts.
Images are sized for the screen and load as you reach them.
